Health studies at UCN

Our bachelor degree programmes in health care have a high quality and throughout the programme our students benefit from the close collaboration between the five health care education programmes: midwifery, nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and radiography. Our education programmes have a high quality both theoretically and clinically.

Clinical practice

We have a very close collaboration with clinical practice and industry. In clinical practice we collaborate with well-educated clinical counsellors. The quality of both the theoretical and clinical education is ensured through national accreditation standards and our constant focus on quality development and quality assurance.

The Danish health care system

UCN has formal agreements with external partners in the Danish healthcare system in both the primary and secondary sector, among these hospitals, municipalities, private health providers and health centres.

Explore campus in Aalborg

The campus on Selma Lagerløfs Vej is an attractive and modern building housing all UCN's healthcare programmes. It is located in the city of Aalborg which is Denmark's fourth largest city. As such it has a lot to offer, and the New York Times even put it on its "Top 10 Places to Go" in 2019!

The campus on Skolevangen offers beautiful surroundings, a creative decor and a strong sense of community. Amongst other things, it has its own climbing wall, gymnastics pit, fitness centre, swimming pool and retro-style café. It is located in Hjørring which is the largest city in the area of Vendsyssel.

The campus on Lerpyttervej is located in Thisted which is an old commercial town close to the Limfjord and the national park Thy. The area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and known for its pristine nature and extensive beaches. It is a perfect place to be for hiking, cycling or surfing!
