Practical information about the book list and your first day at UCN 

The study start programme was organised to accommodate the special COVID-19 situation. However, the programme may be subject to change due to COVID-19.

When you come to campus, we encourage you to follow the Danish Health Authority's guidelines to minimize the risk of infection and to avoid the spread of infection.

Special introduction day for international students

UCN International would like to welcome you to University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) by inviting you to participate in our introduction day for new international students.

Join us for a couple of interesting hours and get to know more about life at UCN and life in Aalborg. Introduction day programme (PDF).

9.30 – 10.00
Enrollment at the main entrance

10.00 - 14.00
Introduction to the programme by the lecturer  

14.00 - 16.00
Lunch and socializing with your class, where you can listen to music and participate in competitions

You can bring your own packed lunch or buy a sandwich for DKK 30 in the canteen. The canteen offers sandwiches with different fillings, e.g. chicken and bacon, ham and cheese, tuna or vegetarian. You can also buy spring water for DKK 10 and soda for DKK 20.

Please note: There might be changes or updates to the introduction day programme and therefore we advise you to check again before start of term.

On your first day at UCN, student tutors will be ready to greet you.

Book list and important information 

During start of term you can visit the book shop on Sofiendalsvej Campus in order to purchase your school books. You are welcome to contact your student advisor if you have any questions.
