Themes
The programme is divided into three fields of study and your choice of field of study is based on the professional background you have achieved with your AP Degree
The programme consists of three semesters each equivalent to 30 ECTS credits. The semesters are divided into themes.
Themes 1 to 3
Themes 1 to 3 will be treated as one and are meant to provide you with an understanding of both the methods and scientific foundations of product development as well as the integration issues that also relate to product development.
Themes 4, 5 and 6
During each of the themes 4, 5 and 6, you will work with the professional field that relates to the theme and also learn about the professional issues that relate to your choice of specialisation.
Each of the themes features an interdisciplinary project assignment that must be carried out in collaboration with a business.
In theme 4, you will work towards a business or trade fair where a service or product related to the business you are partnering with will be presented.
Theme 5 takes its starting point in the assessment and feedback you received for theme 4 and aims to finish your product for the market.
Theme 6 is included as an underlying theme in themes 4 and 5. In theme 6, sustainability and environmental issues are put into perspective in a way that allows the knowledge generated in the specific product development phase to be transferred to other product areas that apply the same technology.
