Back to basics – where the patient comes first

The 8th Nordic Forum for Nurse Educators will occur in Aalborg, Denmark, collaborating with the Nordic Medication Educators Network (NORDPLUS MEDICO) and local partners.

This year’s theme, “Back to Basics – Where the Patient Comes First”, invites us to re-engage with the core purpose of nursing education: to support safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.

We encourage contributions that explore how care for the patient is integrated into teaching, learning, and clinical practice. While the theme highlights foundational values, the forum welcomes a wide range of pedagogical approaches and educational methods — from traditional to innovative — as long as they place patient care at the centre.

The forum is aimed at educators, researchers, clinical instructors, and others engaged in health care education. We welcome participants from nursing and allied health professions, across all levels of education, to network.
