What is a micro-credential?
A micro-credential is a short, focused education course where you earn a certificate as proof of your acquired knowledge and skills. For this reason, a micro-credential is always concluded by an exam to allow you to demonstrate your achieved learning.
Micro-credentials focus on a particular skill and not a broader subject. For this reason, micro-credentials can be completed quicker than traditional continuing education programmes.

If you should want to translate your micro-credentials into a full module, you can apply for a so-called prior learning assessment (PLA) to obtain your final certificate of a completed module. Please contact our quality and education coordinator.
